Bach to Rock (“B2R”) is a modern music school where students learn music through lessons, classes, and performance opportunities. In addition to instruction, we host high-energy birthday parties, school events, and community events for families in the Herndon area.
About the Event Assistant Role
We are hiring Event Assistants to support and help run kids’ parties and community events. This is a part-time, as-needed role that requires reliability, a positive attitude, and comfort working with children and parents in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist with party/event setup and teardown (rooms, basic equipment, supplies).
- Help facilitate activities and keep groups engaged (with staff guidance).
- Provide excellent customer service to families and guests.
- Maintain a safe, organized, fun environment during events.
- Communicate professionally with the event lead and follow instructions quickly.
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with children and families.
- Reliable transportation to our location; off-site events may occur.
- Ability to work peak event times: evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and follow-through.

Schedule & Pay
- Part-time, as-needed (events mostly evenings/weekends).
- Pay: $17–$18/hour.
Bach to Rock (“B2R”) Herndon is a modern, performance-based music school offering private lessons, group classes, bands and ensembles, early childhood programs, camps, and community events.
